Witch Hounds / Sickest Wolf
A downloadable RPG supplement
Delve into the art of Skinwalking.
A short crossover supplement for Sickest Witch and Wolf Hounds. Sickest Witch is a low-fantasy folk horror RPG, with a rules-light OSR system, created by Justin Sirois. The players' Witches harvest body parts from their enemies, imbue them with magic, and use them to cast sinister spells. (And they're the good guys!) It's filled with intriguing lore and unique mechanics; and is available on DriveThruRPG, with a print version shipping later in 2025.
Wolf Hounds is my historical fantasy RPG about the Benandanti: a pack of werewolves, witches, and heretics who protect their communities from supernatural danger while fending off the Inquisition. It runs on a streamlined Powered by the Apocalypse ruleset, and shares a few themes with Sickest Witch, which inspired this crossover.
The first part adds shapeshifting magic to the world of Sickest Witch in the form of Skinwalking, based on folklore and accounts of the medieval witch and werewolf trials. The second part brings SW's harvesting magic to Wolf Hounds with a new character Talent that allows for flexible, creative spellcasting.
